Presenting My Snow Blossom, Sydney

Thank you to all of you for sharing your words of love and support during my pregnancy and maternity break. I am so proud to share the news of my daughter’s (natural!) birth. Sydney Olivia Johnson came to us on the Eve of the Winter Solstice - December 20, 2009 at 7:51 PM. She weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and emerged at 20 inches long. Now, nearly seven weeks old (SEVEN WEEKS ALREADY!), she is the picture of health and happiness.

If you’d like, you can watch Sydney grow here on Flickr and here on our family blog.

As my homeopath and a trusted friend said, Sydney is our “Visible Bee” — a measure of all that stirs us, inspires us and fills us with joy.
