Alexa is a marketing creative, copywriter, garden coach and designer living in Fort Collins, CO. She believes you can have everything you desire and cultivate the life of your dreams. She loves words, imagery and organic processes, hence her work in the horticulture, design and marketing industries.
Alexa has been gardening for 10 years, on both the Great Lakes and the Great Plains. She is certified as a Colorado Gardener, and Alexa is a graduate of the Colorado Master Gardening Program at the Colorado State University. She also gives back to the City of Fort Collins and the gardening community as a volunteer at The Gardens on Spring Creek.

Alexa grew up gardening with her grandfather and her mother in Upstate New York. Years later, while working her way through grad school, she joined a crew of professional plantswomen designing and managing gardens in both middle class and affluent neighborhoods surrounding Cleveland, OH. That job re-awakened Alexa to the restorative, healing power of gardens and gardening. She began to experience magic and joy in ways she never thought possible, and she began gardening at home, once again. Nearly 10 years later, her passion for gardening manifested in Invisible Bees, LLC.
Launched in 2009, Invisible Bees, LLC is a garden design, maintenance and coaching firm serving clients in Northern Colorado.
